   Lyme disease (tick-borne infection) can cause all sorts of physical ailments. I know it can cause vocal cord paralysis. You can cause all sorts of problems with the central nervous system.    Hello, LD can cause difficulty in swallowing. LD can affect the nerve endings, I. e. periphrial neuropathy. . . means that its nerve endings do not feel the intensity and feeling, the tightening of the muscles and so is a credit that could be related to swallowing, even paralysis of facial muscles bells. Be careful and always consult your physician for more information.
