You don’t get Lyme from the dog. But if he got Lyme from a tick and then the tick bit you, yes you could get it. Are you experiencing any flu-like symptoms, weird rashes or other troublesome symptoms? If so, you should get it checked out.
Lyme disease is not fatal. You get it from a tick bite, My daughter and her daughter both have Had it.
