Lime disease comes from getting bit by a tick.
My former doctor died of lime disease after he'd been out in the woods. It can be fatal to humans.
Have you taken your dog to the vet?

Lyme disease is not fatal. You get it from a tick bite, My daughter and her daughter both have Had it.
They flush out your system with antibiotics, it's like having the flu. You can get a secondary illness from being weakened.

You don't get Lyme from the dog. But if he got Lyme from a tick and then the tick bit you, yes you could get it. Are you experiencing any flu-like symptoms, weird rashes or other troublesome symptoms? If so, you should get it checked out.
