If your dog has Lyme Disease he needs rest and antibiotics. When you return to the vet ask him all of your questions and he will put your mind at ease. My son’s dog had Lyme Disease and slept a lot. The vet can give you pain pills for your dog if you ask and he feels it needs them. They are very cheap.

Symptoms does sound serious, and strange, at the same time. It’s great that you are gonna let the vet check him out
(ASAP). It could be serious. Good luck to you and your dog!

Keep your little Pom very quiet and in a very small area so as not to move around much at all until you can transport him to the vet. Put a little warmth near his area to see if it helps with the pain. Like a covered heating pad on LOW. Make sure the cord is out of his reach.
I wish him well.

It’s Lyme, not lime.
If he was diagnosed with, and has medication for Lyme Disease, you should be seeing some improvement within a few days of starting the medication. If not, then bring him back to your vet.

It’s LYME’S disease. Emergency vets are open 24/7. Why would you question the vet’s diagnosis?
BTW, there is NO such thing as a TEACUP Pom. They come in ONE size only. See AKC. ORG for the breed standard.

All your questions will be answered tomorrow at the vet. Unfortunately, we cannot diagnose your dog via the internet.
