My family has been falling apart. im only 14 but almost 5 months ago, my dad passed away with pancreatic cancer. and now a few days ago, we found out that my mom hs stage 3 of limes disease and She almost had a heart attack. i have one other sibling es 19 and my moms disease might be deadly. how should handle ths all cause im so confused!

My sister was walking around the house when i saw their was a tick on her back before trying to pull it off we look on how it was on her.The tick was very tiny, but it was the mark around the tick that worries us. Around the tick, A red mark, (the color of a scap), and made a perfect circle around the tick, (which had bite down very hard), We pulled the tick off, and ribbed some alchohol on her back. Could it be it could have givin her a disease,(lime,rockymountainspotted fever,ect.), or just a mark left from the bite?

take her to the hospital reason because you never pull a tick off it leaves its pincers in the skin and can lead to a very serious infection to remove a tick you need to burn it off it will release on its own

Question by baby :: Itchy and swollen lymph nods?
For about a month now I have had an itchy scalp with swollen lymph nodes. I also have swollen lymph nodes in my arm pits. We went to the doctor and i got tested for mono, cat scratch fever, lime diseases, high cholesterol, and some other illnesses. Im also very very tired. Oh, and im a 15 year old girl if that helps.

All im really asking for is if you can give me a clue as to what I have.

If you have had swollen lymph nodes for a while then you need to get a second opinion..keep going to the doctor until you find the answer.

Question by Heather: numbness and burning sensation throughout my body?
Awhile ago I went to the doctor for a numbness burning sensation in my legs. She ran some blood tests which ruled out limes disease, diabites, and a whole bunch of other stuff. Then she sent me to a Nurologest. He ran this test on me where he shocked my legs and feet. We then got the test results back and found that i dont have a pinched nurve or a sliped disk. so on we went to a C-spine MRI checking for Multipal Sclorsis. That also came back negative. now i have to go for another MRI this time on my brain. since all these tests the numbness is now all over my body my arms and legs, and face and neck nose, ears fingers and toes. the burning sensation is killing me it hurts so bad.
So my question to everyone is: Has this happened to you or somebody you know? Can anyone give me any idea as to whats going on with me.? Is there anything I can do to fix this problem. please help me out.

I live in Missouri, and I’m not for sure what kind of ticks they were, but I think they were seed ticks. I’ve heard that they are newly hatched ticks, but is this true? Thanks for all your help!!

I hope that makes sense. I’m in the process of getting health insurance and don’t want to pay out of pocket if there’s only a minute chance that I have it.

Nobody knows the percentage of bites that cause Lyme disease. However, its easy to know if you have it or not. If you were infected, you will get a telltale “bullseye” rash. You can be 100% certain you have Lyme disease if you get the rash at the site you were bitten, and is better than 99% that you do not have Lyme disease if no rash develops in the next week.

I have gastroesophageal reflux disease so I can’t drink or eat anything with lemon lime orange peppermint apple cider listerine
and yeah
i think you get the idea maybe

so any other good home remedies that would not require a special trip to the grocery store lol
it’s not a sore throat caused by GERDs
its a sore thorat caused by allergies
but i can’t treat it with normal home remedies because of my GERDs
