Many pet insurance companies have a clause for not covering pre-existing conditions. Is there a pet insurance that has pretty good coverage for dogs with Lyme disease? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Unfortunately, it’s unlikely that you’ll find an insurance company (for pets or humans) that will cover anyone with a preexisting condition (meaning that you had the illness and weren’t covered by any insurance). They’re in the business of making money, and if they know they’re going to have to pay out a lot, they won’t take the risk. What you can do is try to work out a payment plan with your vet. Most are willing to do this. I am sorry about your baby. Good luck.

I have yet to see a pet insurance company that will cover pre existing conditions.

ALL the pet insurance companies I’ve looked at don’t cover pre-existing problems.
