I think I’ve been infected with Y2K. Does anyone know the symptoms?

Question by Steve R: I think I’ve been infected with Y2K. Does anyone know the symptoms?
Or maybe it’s swine flu, avian flu, west nile virus, lime tick disease, flesh eating virus or killer bees. How do I know which media frenzy has gotten the best of me? Oh wait, it’s a pedophile online trying to get into my pants.

You, definitely, exhibit all the symptoms of either Y2K or possibly you’re experiencing a “MAC ATTACK”…Take two Tylenol (caps) try and get some rest, and if in the morning it’s 1982, give my office a call. That’s 867-5309…ask for Tommy.

Q&A: my cat has a puffy spot, and i think she might have been bitten?

Monday, April 11th, 2011

Question by Kara S: my cat has a puffy spot, and i think she might have been bitten?
my cat just had kittens this past weekend, and i was scratching underneath her chin 2 days ago, and noticed she had a bump, maybe pea-sized. i looked and saw a small scab there and thought maybe she had gotten bitten. but now it’s getting bigger and i’m worried it may have been a tick, which means it might be lime disease? i know we need to take her to the vet so we’re waiting until monday incase it might go down over the weekend. plus this weekend is when my parents get paid. any ideas on what it might be? now the bump has gotten more raised and is about dime-sized. and we can’t afford to lose her because not only does she need to take care of herself, but also her four babies who would not be able to make it yet without her.

you need to take her to the vet. its obviously getting worse and well what are the kittens going to do if their mum dies because you waited.

Vets are pretty good most of the time ( at least aussie ones are) and will try to work out payments with you.

Has anyone been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, but actually had Lyme Disease?

Friday, December 17th, 2010

Question by Sarah Lou: Has anyone been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, but actually had Lyme Disease?
I have had R A symtoms for 2 yrs. now, none of the well-known meds have worked. Today I was tested for Lyme.

Many many people have been misdiagnosed with RA when they actually had Lyme disease. My 16-year-old daughter is one of them. Let me warn you about the test you took today. Probably it was something called the ELISA test–and probably the results will be negative. Unfortunately, this doesn’t mean you don’t have Lyme. The ELISA is known to have a high false negative rate. I recommend you go to www.lymenet.org and click on “flash discussion.” Here you will meet hundreds of other folks in a similar situation to yours, and you can get advice from them on how to proceed. One thing you MUST do is educated yourself about this complex illness.

moves. I’m 14 and my knees, hips, and elbows sometimes have pain in them. Is this something to be worried about? Maybe a brain tumor, or limes disease?

You should tell your parents if you haven’t already and discuss making a doctor’s apt. Most of the time they can’t find anything wrong with you. Or it’s something simple you would of never thought of. My sister just found out she is anemic and she was thinking she had something really bad. She has to take iron pills and change her diet. So, only test and your doctor will able to help you. Ironically, I have a brain tumor but it’s benign. So, stop worrying.

My husband has been sick for 9 weeks. The doctor ruled out West Nile and Lyme disease, what could it be?

He has all the symptoms of West Nile and Lyme disease, but all blood work was negative.

Your question imposes on someone to look up the symptoms for Lyme and Nile, then guess from there which symptoms he has. No one can have all the symptoms of both, but I’ll bite. I suppose you’re hoping a physician would answer, but even if one did, they’d still need to know a lot more than you gave.
Having said that, I’d suggest you look up parasitic infestations as well as auto-immune deficiencies like Lupus, Multiple Sclerosis, etc. Make a list of questions for ANOTHER doctor appointment and don’t diagnose him from the internet.
Also, just so you know, many symptoms of those symptoms are actually allergies.(Not just the standard pollen, but anything from mites to solvents that he may be in contact with. Pay attention to when he’s most ill and where he has been). He should perhaps get an allergy panel done. Don’t plan his demise yet!
Good luck.

Have you been tested for mercury? Re: Lyme Disease Destroys The Mind

Monday, May 10th, 2010

According to Dr Klinghardt; You will not be able to get rid of lyme disease permanently until you detox your body focusing on reducing mercury from you and your body system. I encourage you to get tested, discover for certain that you are clear of heavy metals. A blood test won’t do it, you need a Provoked (DMSA) urine Challenge test. Why not rule it out?
