She has a perfectly circular rash. The nurse at the Ped’s office said it was probably just excema. But it’s not going away with the lotion she recommended. I have already called for an appointment, but am waiting for a reply. She has no other symptoms, and the ring is itchy. ( I have tried an anti-fungal creme to see if it is ringworm but haven’t seen any progress yet. )
Has anyone seen pictures of Lyme Disease rash?

Is there a difference between Lyme Disease and Tick Paralysis?
If Tick paralysis long will it take for paralysis to disappear once tick has been removed?

We’re thinking of adopting this beautiful foxhound from a nearby shelter but she has tested postive of lyme disease and heart worm. She has begun the lyme treatment as of May 29th 2007 and will continue that treatment for about three or so more weeks. The heartworm treatment is only two days but both treatments can not be done at once. She is a strong dog and will most likely do just fine but does anyone happen to know how long she will have to wait to have the heartworm treatment done after she finishes the lyme treatment?

I was recently diagnosed with lyme disease and my symptoms fit it to a T, headache, stiff neck, and all. However, my mom is worried because lyme can turn into meningitis and my neck/head are hurting worse than ever. Both have the same symptoms. Is there a way I can tell if it is meningitis without getting a spinal tap (major fear of needles. . . )
