i had a blood test the other week because the doctor thought i might have lime disease…im 14 and after i compete in athletic events i get ver sore like i have arthritis. also i was constantly tired with headaches. so the test came back negative for mono and lime but she noticed my white blood cells were low. im not sure how low but i dont think it was drastic. she proposed to my mom i get a retest done….what could be wrong with me???

so a few months ago a tick bit me on the arm. it was a small bite and it went away fast. but now i haven’t had my period in 2 months and i feel really sick. I’ve also gained weight. is this lime disease?

could be but I don’t really know what the symptoms are. could be a hormonal problem but you should let the doctor know and go for blood tests.

please help im only 93 years old and im afraid to tell my parents about the awful mess i created in the nursing home. Its this lime green colored foam that looks like cool whip with rainow sprinkles it smells like a lovely summer breeze it came out of my ear but it looked so delicious i just had to eat it. Then i got on the bus to florida to the doctor and started bleeding for 14 hours because i got bitten by a dog in there. i think i was puking out my ear but if uyou know what this disease is or have any comments please post them im in desprate need of help…and the doctor didnt know what it was so he security escort me out…..i have been gouing to this new nursing home for the last 2 minutes…nobody knows what it is and its hard for me to make friends….:(

So you are 93 and afraid to tell your parents about a mess. You are an adult now, and I am afraid you will have to clean up after yourself.
Good luck with all of that. Please take ALL of your medication…

i heard my dog scream really loud and she couldnt move one side of her body, her limbs wouldnt work and it happend multiple times within a couple of hours. she looked like she was in a lot of pain and her pupils were different sizes from each other and she went to the bathroom during this time without knowing im thinking because if the pain she was in. we went to the doc and they said she could have lime disease but i dont think this is true.

let’s face it, every single one of those symptoms that your dog had are exactly what makes a stroke. if your dog had all of those symptoms i am very sure that you are correct about it being a stroke, one side of the body paralysis is a big symptom,as well as differently sized pupils.

were taking her to the vet tomarrow. my parents say that it could be ring worm, a tick, or lime disease (sp). does anyone have any idea what it could be? btw its about the size of a half dollar.

Does it have a raised ridge around the circle? If so, that sounds like ringworm. Did she have a tick on her in that spot? It is really hard to diagnose in cyberspace but I bet your vet can tell you right away!

Question by allamuchytutor: do you think if my daughter tested positive for lyme disease the dr would want to see her asap?
my daughter’s neurologist had her have an eeg done and blood tested a few weeks ago, the neurolgist wants to see us tomorrow (which is 2 weeks after the test).

If my daughter did test positive for lyme’s disease, do you think they would wait this long, or is this a normal wait time (it is not too late to treat lyme disease)?

No, your dog should be fine, make sure when you do this the head comes out…ticks tend to leave a bulls eye after a bite…it should go away with time.

morgellon’s disease is very different from lyme disease – and it is not even recognized by the cdc or the nih even though it may in fact be real! i’m sorry if you have morgellon’s – i definitely think more people need to learn more about it!
