Question by : What’s wrong with my dog after we took her for a walk today ? ASAP?
We took my dog for a walk in the woods on a path by our house, and all of sudden when we came back she got scared my step dad said. Then she went by him or by the door, now she is shaking. She won’t come by me well she will if i am on couch or laying on the bed but if i want to hold her on my lap while i am on a chair or something she won’t come by me. She shakes when shes by me i think but she don’t shake when she is alone on the floor or by my step dad i don’t think. I only see or feel her shaking by me. I don’t think i did anything to her that would make her scared of me. unless i accidentally stepped on her tail. I told her i was sorry if i did anything and that i loved her and she is still shaking. She did have a tick on her though if that would make any difference. But when took her in the woods 2 days ago she was fine just tired worn out like i was.
What is wrong ? If shes not better in a couple days should i have my mom take her to the vet ? She did have lime disease a while ago.
I am feeling sad beacuse i don’t think she likes me or loves me.
She is 7 years old i think or 6 i forgot but i think its 7 or 6.

I know you have to be bitten to get Lyme disease, but whats to say if there was one tick, there wasn’t another one. I’ve heard ticks get pretty small. I checked the inside and outside of my shirt thoroughly, but i could have missed something that was tiny.

I have had many ticks, mostly during the summer in ohio. all you have to do is rub your hands on your head in between the hairs so that you are touching your scalp. and do that all over your head. if you feel a tick/lump. get alcohole, then a cotten ball. dip it in the alcohole put it wear the tick is, pull out the tick and then burn the tick. DON”T flush the tick. it just climbes back up. then just take a shower to get the alcohole out.
