heyy. im 13. i feel dizzy and weak some parts of the day. i went to the doctors and i got a blood test. they are checking the blood right now, hopefully. i have all the symptoms of lime disease… and im really scared. i dont remember getting bit by a tick and the doctor thinks i have acid reflex because my stomach hurts some parts of the day, right around my belly button. i get random stinging feelings inside my arms and legs, and whenever i think about pain i feel pain. i feel like im going to fall over… whats happening??? and my neck gets itchy, but thers no tick
this isnt the flu, i had a flu test. i have no congestion, runny nose, or sneezing. im feeeling really tired… but i got enough sleep. my temperature is 100.7. do i have lime disease????

You could have had a tick and never know it, they like hiding in warm, dark spots, like under your socks or on your back.
One person I know had Lyme Disease and he was so ill he could hardly move, I doubt you have it.

Question by : What’s wrong with my dog after we took her for a walk today ? ASAP?
We took my dog for a walk in the woods on a path by our house, and all of sudden when we came back she got scared my step dad said. Then she went by him or by the door, now she is shaking. She won’t come by me well she will if i am on couch or laying on the bed but if i want to hold her on my lap while i am on a chair or something she won’t come by me. She shakes when shes by me i think but she don’t shake when she is alone on the floor or by my step dad i don’t think. I only see or feel her shaking by me. I don’t think i did anything to her that would make her scared of me. unless i accidentally stepped on her tail. I told her i was sorry if i did anything and that i loved her and she is still shaking. She did have a tick on her though if that would make any difference. But when took her in the woods 2 days ago she was fine just tired worn out like i was.

What is wrong ? If shes not better in a couple days should i have my mom take her to the vet ? She did have lime disease a while ago.
I am feeling sad beacuse i don’t think she likes me or loves me.
She is 7 years old i think or 6 i forgot but i think its 7 or 6.

Last night my 8 year old dog, Gaia, was perfectly fine, I did give her a tiny bit of ham last night. This morning, I woke up, and she was shaking, and her nose is dry, shes very warm behind her ears, and her eyes aren’t hers. She doesn’t want to move at all. She keeps on having involuntary muscle movements in her legs. When we touch her sides, of her abdominal area, she yelps and stands up and walk away. She doesn’t have an appetite, which is VERY unusual. I started to cry in front of her, and she got up and did a sigh like thing, and walked away. Usually if we pet her she’ll be all up in our face, and licking us.

ABOUT HER
-she eats senior 7 dog food
- she pees at least 3 times a day
- she isn’t the most active dog you’ll ever meet.

We just noticed she’s really soar around her kidney area.
She was diagnosed with lime disease 3 years ago, but she was treated.
she’s biting @ her tail, and it bleeds sometimes.

Call every vet starting with your own till you find one who is on-call today. She sounds BAD. Warm nose doesn’t worry me. Shaking does worry me. ??? her eyes aren’t hers ??? has no meaning to me. Involuntary muscle movements in her legs could be spasms. Pain in the abdomen is a BAD sign. She might have gotten into something.

You standing there crying does NOTHING to help her; it only upsets her more and she’s already feeling really bad. -!-

Ok so my dog is a golden retriever male about 6 years old. For a few days now he has been weak, lethargic, when he is normally very energetic. He is showing no interest in fetch, or balls or toys. he has a slight limp in his left back leg, so we took him to the vet. He had Lime Disease before so they didn’t test him because it would show positive. The vet didn’t know what was wrong, so he gave him pain killers for a sprain and antibiotics for lime. I saw a pack of silica gel on the ground, but he didnt eat it. There are signs of him licking the gel pack though. Plz help tell me what is going on!!!!

Okay so my sister and I were just watching tv and relaxing. And my dog (a small 4yr old Havanese) is calm and relaxed too. I’m playing with my dog, and taking his tennis ball and joking around with him. Tossing it into my other hand and occasionally giving the ball to him, but taking it back. (by the way he likes to play like that, im not trying to be mean to him lol)

So im holding the ball, and all of a sudden he starts walking, and lifts up his back leg and starts hopping/limping around for like 2-3 seconds. Was this because I frustrated him, or irritated him? Is there something I did wrong? Or is it an injury or disease.

PS: he does get occasional ticks, but he hasn’t been getting any recently. he had shots for lime disease and everything.

i don’t really know but maybe he or she is just doing that for fun. if he only did it ones he or she will be fine.
but if he or she keeps doing it you might wanna take him too the vet. My dog Princess does that too bu i kind of tough her too.It is definitely no biggie

I have an 11 year old black lab and an 3 year old yellow lab. The black lab has limes disease so whenever he runs the day before he is sore for a couple of days. What can i do for him that is fun?

I was prescribed this prep kit for a colonoscopy tomorrow to scan for Chron’s disease.
I was wondering if any one has used this kit and what flavor was the best to use??
Pineapple, Lemon-lime, orange or cherry???
Also any advice in dealing with this thing would be great!

My dog was diagnosed w/ early limes disease 3-4 months ago and took meds until it was negative in her blood tests. Now I’ve been noticing her legs are shaky at times of just sitting up and she’s having a hard time climbing the stairs faster or hopping onto the couch… Could it still be the lime’s disease or something else? She is 10+ yrs old, a beagle mix.. any experts out there can help?

I believe the two tests were the IDT (or IGT?) and the Western Blot test. What’s the difference between the two and does it matter which one I use?
I know what Lyme disease is, what my question is asking is what the difference between the two tests that tell you how bad the infection is.

I was just diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma and can’t really find the color for the ribbon. I know lime green is generally used for lymphomas and Hodgkin’s seems to be violet, but i’m not very sure. Any help would be excellent. Thanks
